Christmas in California

Over Christmas break, like every break, we went on Vacation. Mom followed Dad's idea from last year and we went all around California-perfect thing to do in December.

It is one of those places that is just so wonderful and after spending time in Nevada it is so refreshing to be somewhere beautiful and sunny.

We spent Christmas with my Favero grandparents and that was great especially since they realize how much I love Hot Topic.

I stayed with my grandparents yet everyone else really enjoyed the near midnight swim with our best friends the Canepari's

We then went to San Francisco ( victor found the perfect place to ask his future wife to marry him, while geocaching) keep in mind Victor doesn't even talk to girls yet.

The best part of the whole trip ---The Berhans--we dragged them around for two days and we spent the night with them( Bella,Juliet,And I did) I wish we could always see them they are the best.

Together we made a music Video at Zeum, Made claymation,Walked the Golden Gate, Walked the streets of sfo, picked Kiwis, went to the beach and hung out. I sure hope we can vacation all summer long together

Next we went to the coast -Monterrey and below (Dad really wants to move here, he loves this place. )Big sur has great memories but we really loved stopping and seeing the elephant seals north of San luis Obisbo.

On Thursday we went to Santa Barbara to the zoo, museum and best of all Panda Express. This place would be so great on bikes. Dad and Victor were going to camp out in Pasadena with our friends for the rose bowl but they decided to spend New Years eve with us Dipping chocolate,drinking rootbeer and watching Tv.

Friday everything was closed after we went to Pasadena so we saw the walk of stars in Hollywood-boring but Dad saw a movie star from Hero's when we were in the whole foods Market.

Saturday we went to the LaBrea Tar pits and then got lost coming out of LA ( we forgot to bring our GPS we really missed Gypsy) All was good because Hot Topic was down by Disneyland I got some great new clothes.We finally left and went one more time to Pasadena- mom really wanted to go to the Norton Simon Museum so we could see lots of art masters works.Lastly walked the streets of the rose bowl parade since we bailed on going to it . We went to a fun peruvian restaurant there and some nice shops but no Hot Topic.

Sunday we came home and as we drove into Nevada we were counting down the days until our next break. Sometimes ugly places make you really appreciate beauty and keeps you focused on school ,art , music and sports. When we came back I finished reading the new book I got for Christmas, Witch and Wizard that I read with my dad. I love CA.The best thing about coming back to boring old Nevada was getting my new Hot Topic rings that I got online before we left.

On Thursday I had my first dance at the middle school.It was a masqueade and I had a lot of fun dancing with my freinds.After a while it got boring so were moving on to the next big event on that very same day which was my violin concert and I did a trio with 2 other girls on the violin. You all should've been there.It was beautiful.

King and I

Hey everyone. I'm sorry I haven't been blogging lately. But Isabella, Juliet, and my dad have been in a play called the king and I. When I went to go see it I fell asleep so I only saw parts of it. The parts I saw were really good. I think they are doing a really good job. As I am blogging this they are doing the last show. Dad was going to be the king but my mom didn't want him to dance with another woman so he is just a guard now.Juliet and Isabella are children of the king and Juliet sings a solo part. If you want to know why I didn't do the play, let's just say that I am to good for that kind of thing.

Pa-wa-lu

Yesterday I got in top 10 at the pa-wa-lu x country meet.I was in 9th place.I think I won because before the race my dad told me this:"you don't have to be the best to win,you have to be the one who wants to win the most."And I wanted to win so I got in top 10.I probably won't ever forget that race.After we got pumpkin pie for my victory.

Jon's B-day

Last Saturday, it was my friend Jonathans birthday so I went with him to Reno with his family.First we went to Fuddruckers which had huge shakes and was delicious.Then we went to Sheels and went on the ferris wheel and the Nascar Stimulator.The last thing we did was go to Wild Island and played miniature and Gocarts.It was a ton of fun!
